While it is against the natural order for the world to stop revolving, that’s what perhaps happened (albeit not quite literally) when the Apple Event this 2017 took place at the company’s headquarters last night. Everyone can’t stop thinking about the new iPhone models, watch and TV, and the new updates too making the #AppleEvent trending worldwide on Twitter. With all the buzz regarding these new offerings from the #1 smartphone innovator, many are perhaps wondering right now what the new iPhones have to offer that will make you want to part with several hundred dollars to a thousand bucks of your hard-earned moolah for a brand-new smartphone, but mind you, not just any other smartphone.

Apple iPhones have gifted the world with real tech aesthetics that many Android versions are trying to copy but fail to do so. And they are not about to lose their tech superiority above the rest just yet because the new iPhone line is truly lit as long as you can afford it. It lets you do a lot of cool things with it such as having animated emojis a.k.a. animojis, better cameras that are augmented-reality ready, unlock facial recognition, wireless charging, and what most iOS users are asking for, a longer battery life.

Apple has unveiled the iPhone X, its new radically redesigned smartphone that drops the traditional home button for an all-screen design, as well as a new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models.

Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller, took to the stage of the company’s new Steve Jobs Theater situated within the brand new Apple Park “spaceship” headquarters to unveil the new iPhones.

The new $999 (£999 – there is dollar-to-pound equality on the new range of Apple products) iPhone X will come with the company’s new iOS 11 software featuring new on-screen buttons and gestures to replace the standard physical home button, which has been a mainstay of iPhones since the line’s launch in 2007, plus new animated emoji called Animoji.

Just looking at the new iPhone X (pronounced as ten) while it was launched by Tom Cook, Apple CEO, probably made many of you salivating for it already and everything it holds dear. You can even avail one now with a 256GB storage at a much higher price, of course. The makers even dub this new model as “the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone” firstly because it does not have a home button along with the many other cool features it possesses.

“For more than a decade, our intention has been to create an iPhone that is all display. The iPhone X is the realization of that vision,” said Jony Ive, Apple’s chief design officer. “With the introduction of iPhone ten years ago, we revolutionized the mobile phone with Multi-Touch. iPhone X marks a new era for iPhone — one in which the device disappears into the experience.”

“iPhone X is the future of the smartphone. It is packed with incredible new technologies, like the innovative TrueDepth camera system, beautiful Super Retina display and super fast A11 Bionic chip with neural engine,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “iPhone X enables fluid new user experiences — from unlocking your iPhone with Face ID, to playing immersive AR games, to sharing Animoji in Messages — it is the beginning of the next ten years for iPhone.”

With an all-glass front and back and a surgical-grade stainless steel that is highly-polished, the Apple X is said to start the trend for a new era of iPhones. It remains to be dust and water resistant like the previous model for an A+ in durability but with a touch of elegance. It has an OLED panel for the best color experience and backed by the latest iOS 11 operating system. There are numerous reviews right now circulating on the web highlighting the various specs and features of this new eye-candy from Apple that will surely take your smartphone game to the next level.
